Our staff believes that relationships with people who share the mission of our work—funding agencies, staff, subcontractors, consultants, and partners—are the heart of successful management. Employees have a clear understanding of our organization’s mission, values, quality standards, and operating procedures and work closely with funding agencies to comply with their management and reporting requirements. People are at the forefront, supported by robust systems and strategies.

We often partner with other organizations to provide the most comprehensive services to our clients. In just one year, EDC has worked with over 450 subcontractors. Our experience managing subcontractors and consultants across many projects ensures quick start-up and a positive approach to planning and problem-solving.

Our projects are supported by centralized EDC Business Services, which include departments for accounting, grants and contracts management, human resources, legal, and information and communications technology. Using Web-based management software, staff, subcontractors, and funding agencies can access critical information about the status of tasks and deliverables, as well as financial information. Connecting people in different locations through virtual means enhances our ability to communicate and manage across sites.
