Which Prevention Programs Are Effective?
<< Back to Northeast CAPT Home

The Northeast CAPT receives repeated requests from community and state-level practitioners for information on effective substance abuse prevention programs. In response, Northeast CAPT staff collects and categorizes information on programs approved by a variety of federal and other research agencies.

In our database, you can search for substance abuse and other types of prevention programs and determine their effectiveness according to a variety of criteria via our newly enhanced search page.  We have also included information about the sources those agencies used for their evaluations, contact information, websites, domains, relevant references, and a brief description of each intervention.

If you have questions about this database, please contact Chelsey Goddard at CGoddard@edc.org.
