Surveying Principals about School Mental Health Challenges

In an effort to build the capacity of school leaders to improve student mental health and academic achievement, HHD has administered an online survey to school principals worldwide about the most pressing emotional issues for students and staff, and the resources needed to address these issues. This research evolved from a new partnership between the International Alliance for Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Schools (Intercamhs) and the International Confederation of Principals.  More than 1,200 responses have been received from approximately 30 different countries. They will be used to inform resource development and to establish forums for shared learning.
