Suicide Prevention Resource Center

Funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration’s Center for Mental Health Services, HHD operates the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC). SPRC enhances the nation’s mental health infrastructure by providing national and state government agencies, private organizations, colleges and universities, and suicide survivor and mental health consumer groups with access to information that can support their efforts to develop programs, implement interventions, and promote policies to prevent suicide.

SPRC reaches out globally through presentations at international congresses on suicide prevention and hosts international delegations interested in establishing national suicide prevention efforts.
