Suicide Prevention on Campus

With suicide ranked as the second leading cause of death among young people, colleges and universities need to promote mental health as well as prevent and respond to disorders in a more timely way. They must also identify and make services available to students who are depressed, anxious, or suicidal, as well as reduce access to lethal means available on campus.

The Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) provides assistance to college and university administrators and staff to address these important issues through an environmental strategy.
