After successful pilot projects in 10 schools, Health and Education officials in the Zhejiang Province, China, decided to increase the number of Health- Promoting Schools (HPS) across the region. This article offers successful strategies that were used in integrating the HPS concept to achieve greater awareness of health and well-being.
