MetroWest Youth Risk Behavior Survey

A 10-year initiative provides communities in the MetroWest region of Boston, Massachusetts with timely, local data on the health and risk behaviors of middle and high school students through biennial surveys. In the fall of 2008, almost 32,000 students in 22 school districts completed surveys, with an overall participation rate of approximately 90 percent. Survey results are used by communities to develop programs and policies, enhance curricula, and set priorities for improving the health of young people.
