Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP). The Northeast CAPT's funder, CSAP leads federal efforts to prevent alcohol and other drug abuse. Center for the Study
and Prevention of Violence (CSPV). CSPV collects research literature
and resources on the causes and prevention of violence, offers technical assistance
for the evaluation and development of violence prevention programs, and maintains
a basic research component through data analysis and other projects on the causes
of violence and the effectiveness of prevention and intervention programs.

Drug Strategies.
Guided by a distinguished advisory panel, Drug Strategies conducts
an annual review of Federal drug control spending and identifies promising prevention,
education, treatment, and law enforcement programs.

National Institute
on Drug Abuse (NIDA). NIDA supports and conducts research related to
drug abuse and addiction as well as disseminates the results of that research
to influence substance abuse prevention, treatment, and policy.

of Justice (NIJ). NIJ, a component of the Office of Justice Programs,
is the research agency of the U.S. Department of Justice. NIJ supports research,
evaluation, and demonstration programs, development of technology, and both
national and international information dissemination.

Office of Juvenile
Justice and Deliquency Prevention (OJJDP). OJJDP is a resource for
people interested in juvenile justice and delinquency issues through its promotion
of a comprehensive strategy for communities to combat youth crime.
