William DeJong, Ph.D.,
a professor of social and behavioral sciences
at the Boston University School of Public Health, is the director
of the National Center for College Health and Safety. In addition,
Dr. DeJong serves as principal investigator for the Social Norms
Marketing Research Project.
Dr. DeJong is the author of nearly 300 monographs, book chapters,
and academic papers in substance abuse prevention, health promotion,
criminal justice, social psychology, and the use of media to change
social norms and behaviors. He has also been responsible for managing
several large research and technology transfer projects during his
career. Over the past 25 years he has been widely recognized for
his work in substance abuse prevention, health education, technology
transfer, strategic planning, and program evaluation. |
